‘Twas the Night Before Christmas...

A little village decorated with Christmas lights with snow and a church lit up in the background

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the city

CCC’s team members were happy; boy were they giddy.

They could hardly wait to spend time with their loved ones;

And have a well-deserved break during the most joyous of seasons.

The writers turned off their computers and apps;

The web designers looked forward to resting and naps.

And the owners were thankful for their incredible team;

Who made it possible for them to live out their dream.

When suddenly a last minute order came through;

And the team began scrambling to see what they should do.

Ever so quickly, Nicole turned on her screen

To check out the details of the email she’d seen.

She laughed as she saw it wasn’t a client or elf;

But a message of Christmas cheer from Santa, himself.

Santa was preparing for his majestic winter flight;

But he had something to say before he drove into the night.

He was delighted the team had been so good this past year;

And he wanted them to know they had nothing to fear.

For their stockings would be full, overflowing to the brim;

Because of all of the goodies he’d be bringing with him.

But the best gift of all, he couldn’t help but proclaim;

Was the gift of serving their clients, and he knew them by name.

Santa listed them all, putting a smile on her face;

As Nicole reflected back on the goodness of God’s grace.

For she knew their agency would be nothing without Him;

And the more Santa wrote, the more he made her grin.

The year hadn’t been easy; in fact, it had been hard;

With challenge after challenge she couldn’t disregard.

As Santa’s little message began drawing to a close,

He gave a word of encouragement, and though only God knows,

The new year is coming, and the outlook is grand.

May you have a Merry Christmas, and may God keep you in His hand.

Nicole turned off her computer and bowed her head down;

She prayed a quick prayer, and then without a sound,

She focused her attention on the new fallen snow,

And the honor of helping other businesses grow.
