1. Your Company Page
A lot of professionals have personal LinkedIn pages. But if you’re a business owner, you’ll also want to create a company page for your business.
But don’t think about your company page like a typical social page. Instead, use it as a sales funnel to capture leads for your business.
Here are a few tips to help with that:
Use a header image that captures visitors’ attention. It should speak to their need more than it speaks to what you can do. That part comes later.
Use the Description section to put together a compelling pitch that includes your website link. You have 2,000 characters here, so take your time and make good use of them. Think one-sentence paragraphs without any passive language. And keep in mind - LinkedIn only immediately displays the first two lines, so make them count!
Post regular updates to your business page. But not just any updates; targeted ones that directly communicate to your target audience. This will help your LinkedIn page stay engaging and active. And this brings us to the next “way” on our list...
2. Create Valuable Content for Your Audience
Cute memes and feel-good images are not necessarily the best way to market using LinkedIn. They’re fun, but they’re not effective. Save them for your more laid-back Facebook posts.
For LinkedIn posts, focus on creating valuable blog posts that help your target audience with some type of problem.

But of course, you can’t post blog posts all the time. So go ahead and mix it up. Here are some ideas:
Share articles from other, non-competing sites and include a relevant question to get people talking about the article. Engagement is a good thing.
Put up a poll about something your readers care about. People love quick and easy ways to answer questions, and polls make it simple.
Share videos! You don’t have to have anything super professional to post on LinkedIn. You can record a video of your operations or feature a helpful staff member. Videos get a lot of traction on LinkedIn.
3. Consider LinkedIn Ad Marketing
You’re probably familiar with Facebook and Google Ads because they’re the most popular. But there are a lot of ad options available to you, including LinkedIn ads.
Ad marketing has never been as big as it is right now. Using ads is a great way to get your message in front of the right audience.
